About Balance Review
The company
Balance Review is built and operated by Tech Clarity Solutions LLC, doing business as TechClarity.ai— an independent software studio that builds focused tools which make complicated systems legible. Balance Review is its personal-finance product; the same team builds RankZen (SEO and answer-engine auditing) and TickerLoft.
Why Balance Review exists
Balance Review was built by its own first user: someone managing a dozen cards and loans who couldn't get a straight answer from any existing tool to the only question that mattered — what is my true position, and what should I pay, where, this month? Budgeting apps categorize the past. Bank apps show one account at a time, minus whatever hasn't posted yet. Neither shows pending charges, the month's remaining recurring bills, and already-scheduled payments in one place.
The philosophy behind the product is simple: credit is good, interest is bad. The goal isn't to close your cards — it's to keep them open and active while carrying nothing, so the credit works for you instead of the other way around. That path is mapped in the five stages of the credit life cycle, and every feature in the tool serves one of those stages.
How it's run
Balance Review is currently free to use. There are no ads, no selling of personal data, and no third-party trackers — the product is the tool, not your data. Accounts require two-factor authentication, bank connections are read-only through Plaid, and you can permanently delete your account and every byte of your data from Settings at any time. The full details live in the privacy policy and terms of service.
