Terms of Service
Last updated: July 18, 2026. Balance Review is built and operated by Tech Clarity Solutions LLC (doing business as TechClarity.ai). This page describes the current rules for using the app.
1. Acceptance of terms
By signing in and using Balance Review, you agree to these terms. Agreement to these terms and to the privacy policy is collected by checkbox when you create your account and recorded with a timestamp. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.
2. Description of service
Balance Review is a personal credit-strategy tool for tracking accounts, payment patterns, and projected balances, with optional read-only bank sync. It is not a financial institution, lender, financial advisor, credit-repair service, or bookkeeping service.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, including balances, payment dates, and import files. Synced bank data can lag or contain provider errors. Always verify payment amounts and due dates with your financial providers before transferring money.
4. Bank sync
Connecting a bank is optional. Connections are made through Plaid and are read-only — the app can retrieve balances, transactions, and issuer-reported terms, but can never move money or change anything at your bank. By connecting an account you authorize that retrieval. You can disconnect at any time from Settings, which revokes access and deletes the stored token. Availability and data quality depend on your institution and on Plaid.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to process illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity. Do not attempt to access other users' accounts or disrupt the service.
6. Disclaimer
Balance Review is provided as-is for personal planning. Calculations and recommendations are informational only and may not reflect actual payment requirements, interest, fees, or provider terms. Descriptions of credit-scoring behavior are general information, not a promise of any credit-score outcome. Tech Clarity Solutions LLC and its platform providers are not liable for financial decisions made using the app.
7. Account termination
You can delete your account and all data at any time using "Delete my account" on the Settings page — this purges your data and revokes any bank connections, and cannot be undone. Tech Clarity Solutions LLC may also suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
